Job Opening: American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter

Two Job Openings:

  1. ASL Interpreter for the weekly Sunday Service and reception afterward: Arriving at 10:00 a.m. will allow for set-up and any last minute changes. The Sunday Service starts at 10:30 a.m. (Each week in advance, we will provide as much as possible of the spoken words and lyrics to music.) A reception immediately follows the service. The two-hours would end at Noon.
  2. ASL Interpreter for weekly Sunday Children's Religious Education (R.E.) and reception afterward. Arriving at 10:00 a.m. will allow for set-up and potentially helping with interpreting for anyone who arrives prior to the Sunday Service. Religious Education (R.E.) starts in the sanctuary with a "Story for All Ages" near the beginning of the Sunday Service, then children go to classes, divided by age group. The priority would be interpreting for the R.E. class with the greatest ASL needs, in conversation with the congregation's Director of Religious Education (DRE). A reception immediately follows the service. The two-hours would end at Noon.
