Split-Plate Nominations
Use our online form to nominate a deserving non-profit organization for consideration as a split-plate recipient (half of UUCF's offering plate donations on a Sunday) during the July 2024 - June 2025 congregational year. Please complete the form by Monday, April 30, 2024
The purpose of Split Plate is to promote and contribute funds to non-profit organizations, build relationships outside UUCF and work toward fulfilling our principles. Split Plate is tied directly to UUCF members, UU organizations or non-profits at local, state, national and international levels that benefit social and environmental justice through meeting humanitarian needs, education, environmental education or preservation. The funds are to be used to contribute to the organization’s goals, not for administration. For more information on our Split-plate program, click here
Currently we have seven annual openings (nominated through the form linked above) for our monthly split-plate offering on 3rd Sundays. In addition, we have a six ongoing annual commitments for split-plate organizations that are UU-related and/or a long-term partnership:

- July: AARCH (African American Resources Cultural and Heritage Society)
- August: Friends of ALICE Scholarship
- September: Blessings in a Backpack
- October: UU United Nations Office (UU-UNO)** (typically the October split plate to align with United Nations Day)**
- November: Black Lives of UU (BLUU)**
- December: UUCF's longterm partnership with the village of Oltorotua, Kenya** (UUCF's Social Action Committee maintains at least $1,000 to support the longterm maintenance of the well we helped dig for the village.)
