Nursery
The Nursery is staffed by a Nursery Coordinator and Nursery Assistant, as well as Parent Assistants.

At 9:00 AM, there is childcare for infants through age 5.

At 11:00 AM, the nursery is open for infants to children who have not turned 3 as of September 1, 2007.

Since our program is growing, we ask that parents sign up to assist in the nursery on a rotating basis.

When parents bring their children to the nursery, please sign your child in. The Sign-in book is located on the shelf as you walk in the door. The staff will assign each family a pager so we can stay connected.

If you wish to volunteer, please stop by the nursery in room 119 (The Beatrix Potter Nursery), and talk to one of our trusted staff people. They keep sign up sheets and calendars with them on Sunday mornings.

We are a family-friendly congregation and encourage children of all ages to attend worship with their parents on Sunday mornings. Also, if children or fussy or distracted, parents may choose to use the Library/Rocking Room as a place to experience worship and comfort restless/crying children.

Unitarian Universalist Principles a children’s version

We, the members of the Unitarian Universalist Church believe that:
all people are important;
we should accept other people and help them to grow;
we should figure out for ourselves what is true and good;
we should do what our consciences tell us is right;
people should be able to vote about things that concern
them; we should work for peace and freedom everywhere and try to make the world one family;
we should take care of the earth which gives us life.

In our church we learn from and get our beliefs from many sources:
our own sense of wonder of life;
the Jewish and Christian religions and many other
religions from around the world;
knowledge gained by people through science and reason;
the lives of people who have worked to make the world a
better place;
our thoughts and experiences.

We are glad we can come together to help and support each other in our efforts to grow and live good lives.
