DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES ON CHRISTIANITY.
DPOC
is an ongoing study group that explores how we might continue to apply the teachings of Jesus to our evolving understanding of the nature of God and our place in the Universe, as well as where liberal Christianity may be heading. For more information, contact Sea Raven, D.Min., at 304-229-3293 or sraven@earthlink.net. All are welcome.

ENLIGHTENMENT STUDY GROUP. This group meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 to explore enlightenment topics and writings. Past authors have included Eckhart Tolle and Pema Chodron. Each session begins and ends with a meditation and also includes a book discussion. Contact Carole Benson at 301-694-5366 or carolejbenson@earthlink.net.

FIRST FRIDAY POETRY GROUP. The group meets the first Friday of each month, usually at the church, between 7:00 and 9:00 PM, to explore and enjoy poetry written by others and ourselves. Contact Mary Fletcher at 301-865-3212 or marycfletcher@gmail.com.

FRIENDLY FORUM. Friendly Forum provides an open discussion on an eclectic mix of topics related to UUCF and the wider world. Meetings take place between services every Sunday (10:00-10:55 AM, usually in Room 113). Check the Unison for announcements of scheduled topics.

FREDERICK YOUNG ADULT GROUP. This group, aimed at people aged 18 to 35, is fairly new and growing. It’s a great way to meet people in the church community. Activities include social events, intellectual discussions, and community service. To find out more information, express interest in participating, or join the email list to help plan events, email Scott Butki at sbutki@gmail.com.

MOVIE DISCUSSION GROUP. This group meets approximately once a month to view and discuss thought-provoking movies. Movie titles and details are announced in the Unison. Contact Scott Butki at sbutki@gmail.com for more information.
