The Frederick County Art Association presents "Gathered Visions," a mixed media show of over 20 local artists, at the Blanche Ames Gallery on Sunday, September 4, with an open-to-the-public artist talk and reception from 12:30-2:30P.M. This show reflects the Frederick County Art Association, a diverse group with works in all mediums and styles. The show runs through September 25. Gallery hours are Tues.-Fri. 9-5:00 and Sun. 10-1:00. Please call 301-473-7680 to confirm before visiting.
Artists represented in the show include Becky Jackson, Lou DiPasquale, Elayne Rogge, Bob Nalewaik, Kitty Nalewaik, Ratha Soumphontphakdy, Ron Roos, Ron Richard Baviello, Jean Frank, Deborah Lovelace Richardson,Tess Rollins, Joy Boudreaux, P. Ann Cummins, Noralie Katsu, John Kuhn, Shari Kuhn, Sheryl Massaro, Peter Plant, Cindy Poole, Russell Poole, Priya Saraf, Bonny Sydnor, Karen Peacock, Linda Zvolanski, and Margaret Huddy.
The organization's goal is to stimulate interest and participation in, and appreciation of, the visual fine arts and to promote those arts. The FCAA earned the 2016 Maryland Seal of Excellence in Nonprofit Management
