Odara Concert
Experience the beauty, drama and feminine magic of the voice at Odara: A Celebration of Women’s Voices in Song.
Featuring performances by nine extraordinarily gifted female vocalists in ensembles and as soloists, Odara offers a glimpse into the wide world of the female voice in music. Enjoy a range of familiar favorites spanning Classical, Pop, Folk, Musical Theater genres and more.
Featured vocalists are UUCF members and friends Martha Jones, Julia Jones, Deb Int Veldt, Scarlet Fannin, Louise VanGilder, Donna Williamson, Cassie Brand, Elaine Gleaton and Linda Myers.
Accompaniment will be performed by percussionist Tomy Wright, bassist Bill Bromfield, Pianist Nick Intveldt and violinist Jennifer Houck.
There will be two performance on Saturday, September 29, at 7:30pm and Sunday,September 30 at 3:00pm in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick (4880 Elmer Derr Rd, Frederick, MD 21703).
A donation of $15 is recommended for admission. All proceeds benefit the UUCF.
